Fantasy OOTD Balmain Blazer And Shirt Dress

blazer - Balmain
shirt dress - James Perse
belt - Moschino
shoes - Christian Louboutin

I wanted to put together an outfit designed around this Balmain blazer, if you recognise it you may have seen similar on Kim Kardashian, I'm sure her wardrobe is heaving with Balmain but this is something I have seen her wearing on more than one occasion which is rare for her. Balmain is ridiculously priced but when your Kim, who cares? However, luckily I have seen some dupes for these chic blazers in the hight street and online and I managed to get my hands on one from H&M in an off white colour.
Back to the outfit; Recently I have been admiring 'shirt dresses' and although they may not look up to much on the hanger (or on a 2D screen) teamed with the right outfit a simple oversized shirt can look so on point. The statement Moschino waist belt is on my wish list, it can bring an outfit together and I think adding this makes this outfit look so much more feminine and flattering as it will cinch in at the waist and show off your curves. To finish I added the 'So Kate' patent leather Louboutins because why not? Red bottoms always look good!

The Balmain Blazer

In the pictures above Kim is wearing a pink and white blazer, which are similar to the one I found in H&M.

Even North West is wearing Balmain at 1 year old!

Of course J.Lo had to be included in yet another fashion post, here she is looking very classy and sophisticated in a silk shirt dress and sandals.

Kylie Jenner wearing a more detailed shirt dress, I love the belt and pleats!

Celebrity Fashion

Firstly I must apologise for the lack of blog posts in the last few weeks, I've been quite busy lately and haven't been able to find the time, however I will be getting back in to a regular blogging routine as of now!
So many of my recent blog posts have been about makeup which is of course my favourite subject, but unfortunately I haven't bought any new makeup since my last haul so as you can imagine I'm pining for a trip to the MAC counter. I've been trying a lot of different eye makeup looks lately which I would love to share with you but I can't because I lost my phone which means no camera!!! Basically this is another excuse as to why I haven't been posting on here, so with my lack of new makeup and OOTD's and FOTD's, I decided to write this post on which celebrity fashion I have been loving this past month!

Does J.Lo ever get it wrong? At 45 years old J.Lo is still keeping her style young, fun and fresh and she's even rocking pigtails, possibly inspired by Ariana Grande. Some may not agree but I think she looks amazing in both of these outfits,  I wish I could dress like this everyday and those orange court shoes are on my wish list!

I am so obsessed with Kylie Jenners style, this year she has really made an impact and truly put her self on the map! In these images she is rocking denim and leather and although this isn't something I would wear I think she looks fabulous, I don't know of anyone else who could make a massively oversized shirt look so good!

Its so hard for me to write a celebrity fashion blog with out talking about the Kardashian/Jenners because I love just about everything they wear, I'm especially loving the more 'casual' looks they have sported lately. Here is Kylie again wearing another of my favourite fashion items, denim boyfriend jeans, I love how she has dressed them up with a silk cami.

Again everything is on point here for the autumn season! leather, sweat pants, crop tops, points - big inspiration for my autumn/winter wardrobe!

I love Nicki Minaj's new toned down look, she still manages to stand out from the crowd with out the crazy wigs and outfits. I love her more than ever now!

Here is Iman, Rihanna and Naomi Campbell in a Balmain Campaign. If I became a millionaire one of the first things I would do is revamp my wardrobe and kit myself out in Balmain and hire Oliver Rousteing as my stylist. This campaign oozes everything I am loving this season, khaki green, leather, embellishment and leopard print which never seems to go out of fashion!

Met Gala 2014, My Favourite Looks

The Met Gala is the fashion worlds most anticipated event, every year the event is given a theme and this year it was 'White Tie and Decorations'. As always the red carpet in New York was graced by many celebrities and style icons in the most beautiful and outrageous fashions, but for me, of all the big names and alluring dresses, Kendall Jenner, Rosie Huntington-Whitely and Rihanna made the cut!

Of all the Kardashian/Jenner clang it was only Kendall and sister Kim who made an appearance on the red carpet, and although we are so use to seeing Kim K looking stunningly glamourous at big events (and almost everyday) it was Kendall who outshone her sister on this occasion. Surprisingly Kendalls elegant gown was from none other than high street brand Topshop, but ofcourse this dress was custom made for her. Kendalls satin mermaid style dress was blinged up with a Chopard diamond choker necklace and there is certainly nothing high street about that. We have seen Kendall and sister Kylie growing up before our eyes on 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians' but I can say Kendall truly looked like a women on the red carpet, so elegant and sophisticated. Her look was finished off beautifully with simplistic hair and makeup which complimented her dress.

Supermodel Rosie Huntington-Whitely donned head to toe Balmain on the red carpet, and as I dream of a wardrobe filled with Balmain in years to come this look was bound to make it to my favourites list. The Victorias Secret models daring short dress featured gold embellishments and fierce leopard print and leather panels and her gladiator heels looked made to match. Rosie opted for minimal accessories with only chunky golden hoop earrings, she went for sleek straight hair and as opposed to the 'out there' dress her makeup look was neutral and flawless.

Rihanna is always a stand out contender on the red carpet. Her look was on par with the white theme as she looked 'elegant with an edge' in this on trend cropped two-piece. Rihanna was one of the few A-List celebs on the carpet to be dressed by top designer Stella McCartney. I am in love with this ensemble, I can see that so much thought has been put in to this creation, from the shoulder pads to the cut-out back, the ruching and trail of the skirt. In company with the dress Rihanna rocked a diamond choker and several rings and her hair looked the most natural I have ever seen it.
